Taken from my first blog entry…

Years ago when I was little my parents got a fancy new polaroid instamatic camera (dating myself with that). They gave me their old little kodak (I thought it was fancy because it had a cube flash). Who would have thought it would lead to this. That started my love of photography. Even before that I loved pictures, loved looking at old family photos and slides. I love how they seem so simple yet they are usually one of our most important heirlooms. Their importance can often be overlooked but after the survival of our 1st daughter (a 23 weeker), losing most everything in an arson and the recent deaths of my husband’s mother, my father and my brother pictures are cherished, especially when you don’t have them anymore.
